Vice Franz,

I am happy to note that there is Noy-Mar Movement in our province and I pray hard that the tandem will make it for a better country and government. I believe that the two will not steal from the government.

If you are ready to answer, ano po ang political plans ninyo sa darating na halalan.

Salamant na naman po

Dear Joyce,

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm really for the tandem of Noy-Mar because we all belong to the same political party, the LIBERAL PARTY. Besides, they are both men of untainted integrity. Don't worry, I'll post updates on the movement.

I'm running for board member sa first district. Please pray for me.

It would be a great lose sa city natin. The province will gain more than enough if you win bilang Board Member.

Hayaan yo po, we pray a lot for you and sana sa future, di ka na i-address ng Vice but Bokal.

Keep up Vice and ako na naman po at wag po kayong maum-uma. Yamanek.

The Liberal Party is open to accepting defectors coming from Lakas or Kampi. It means that traditional politicians have a big say in Noynoy Aquino’s presidency. What happened to new politics?

Dear anonymous,

When it says that it's OPEN, it does not automatically accept. There is a process before one becomes a liberal.

It would be unfair and illogical to conclude that traditional politicians have a big influence on Aquino's candidacy just because the Liberal Party is OPEN to defectors. Openness is not necessarily willingness. Being OPEN means that the party can form alliances with other groups without sacrificing its principles.

I definitely go for Mar Roxas for VP. It seems that Noynoy Aquino is a good candidate for priesthood not for the presidency. Please give me three good reasons why Ilocos Sur electorate should vote Noynoy for president in 2010.

Traditional politicians and the elite ruling class are not saints. They have skeletons in the closet. Liberal Party’s presidential candidate Sen. Noynoy Aquino is no exemption. The Filipino electorate is force to choose the lesser evil. AMEN

Excerpts from Daily Tribune 11/12/2009
Skeletons in the Aquino-Cojuangco families’ closet are beginning to rattle.

Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino and the Cojuangco family were direct beneficiaries of the P170-million private road interchange in Hacienda Luisita as well as a P80 million for the right of way (RoW), it was bared yesterday.

This is said to explain why Senator Aquino refuses to dip into the P200-million double insertion allegation against his colleague Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar on the C-5 road project which Villar’s accusers alleged benefited his real estate firm.

It appears that the family of the Liberal Party (LP) 2010 presidential bet also had its share of blessings from the P33-billion Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), having been gifted with a P170-million private road interchange built exclusively for Hacienda Luisita Inc. (HLI), on top of the P80 million paid to HLI as remuneration for the 83 hectares of HLI-owned land used for the road project.

At the hearing conducted yesterday by the House oversight committee headed by Quezon Rep. Danilo Suarez, lawmakers uncovered that the Cojuangco-controlled HLI, was a direct beneficiary of the SCTEX project, whose proponent, as revealed in the Jan. 12, 2005 Senate hearing, was Noynoy Aquino who was then a congressman.

The Hacienda portion of the SCTEX project is an outrageous gift to the Cojuangcos,” Remulla exclaimed. “They were paid P80 million for 83 hectares of their land so that a private road interchange could be built for them for their own private use.”
The compensation paid to HLI was bared by Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) general manager (Ret.) Gen. Robert Geronimo.

The project was a priority flagship program between President Arroyo, then Deputy Speaker Noynoy Aquino of the Cojuangco-Aquino clan of Hacienda Luisita, and the Lopez Family (First Philippine Infrastructure Inc.)

The whole project was funded by the Japan Bank and International Corp. (JBIC) with a Special Yen Loan worth P21.393 billion with BCDA having a counterpart of P4 billion.

The biggest project inside Hacienda Luisita at that time was The Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). About six villages with a land area of 83 hectares inside Hacienda Luisita would form part of the 94-kilometer four-lane expressway north of Manila. Its southern terminus is at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales, it passes through the interchange with the North Luzon Expressway near the Clark Special Economic Zone in Angeles City, and its northern terminus is at the Central Techno Park in Tarlac City, Tarlac.

The SCTEX’s biggest and most ambitious project to date, is a major infrastructure which is envisioned to serve as a backbone of development in the Central Luzon region. Known as the country’s longest expressway, it is envisioned to transform the area into a super region that would attract investors worldwide, through the integration of all economic activities in the Subic Freeport and Special Economic Zone and the Clark Special Economic Zone, and the Central Techno Park in Tarlac.

Laban sign? Bakit? Hindi na isyu si Marcos ngayon. Mas grabe at abusado si Gng. Gloria Arroyo at kanyang alipores.

Nothing is changed. GMA did not 'canonize' Marcos. Although the present government is one of the most corrupt, Marcos is still Marcos, a dictator who debased Filipinos. The excesses of that regime are still felt today. Who are in the Senate? Since the years of Diokno, Tanada, Salonga, Aquino, Roxas and Ziga to name a few, none on their par has come out. Why? Under Marcos, the intellectuals were all salvaged.

And yes, they learned Marcosian wily crafts and even improved them.

I agree that the Marcoses and Arroyos must face the law, a thing they bastardized and failed to respect.

Re: There is a process before one becomes a liberal.

The Liberal Party has accepted ex-NEDA Sec. Ralph Recto; the chief architect of E-Vat law and defender of Gloria Arroyo’s voodoo economic policies. He is in the LP senatorial slate. Is this new politics? O’ come on! There’s something wrong in the selection process.

The Liberal Party is becoming an open dump site for recycled traditional politicians. It really stinks. Former senate president Frank Drilon is running the show.

Ilocos Sur warlord Luis Chavit Singson is running for governor under Lakas-Kampi Party. He will carry Gibo Teodoro for president. He can influence the result of election in Ilocos Sur province. What are the chances of Liberal Party presidential candidate in Chavit’s country? In 2004 fraudulent presidential election, Gloria Arroyo won by landslide in this province.

I think Chavit Singson will support Malacanang's other presidential candidate. Manny Villar is the man. Remember Manny Pacquiao runs under the Nationalista Party. Everybody knows that Chavit and Manny are BFF. Pacquiao may have consulted Chavit regarding his political plans. Lakas-Kampi Party is kiss of death. The 2010 presidential derby will be a 3-cornered fight, Aquino, Villar and Erap.
